I am fun, fit, and forty-seven. Rather like the alliteration. I like to run, paint , read and seem to be perpetually remuddling my house. I have shared custody with a delightful child and appreciate a solid parenting relationship with my ex.
Interested in travel, real estate, the arts, food, architecture, cooking and about a trillion other things. The pic was taken this spring in Spain, and I would have added a picture from Antarctica, but the penguins were better dressed. I own my own well established business, and find entrepreneurship fun and suits my goal oriented personality, but no milfseekers please. I am not a gifted typist. erg. Occasionally I need reminding that there is more to life than working and parenting. I am looking for someone similarly aged, charismatic and intelligent. Well, at least smart enough to laugh at my jokes! I want a decent meal, lively conversation, chemistry and some....distraction.

I love riding my longboard near the beach, the smell of mountain air and how the city feels just after a rain. I'm a bit of a loner but I love the few true friends I have. They give me a healthy dose of reality when I need it. I adore my parents and my cute gray boy-cat. I think people who "hate" animals are offensive.
I'm independent, a little quirky and sometimes I laugh too loud. I love other quirky people, a sense of humour and cheesecake...I REALLY love cheesecake. Someday I hope to squat somewhere in the Yukon, make bannock on a fire, drive a dogsled and build a log cabin with stained glass windows to live in. Romantic dream? Maybe. I'm just trying to break out of the shell I often surround myself with, meet some new people and maybe I'll meet someone who thinks I'm the best thing they ever happened upon. For some reason, I like guys who are a little rough around the edges, not dirty criminals, just slightly unkempt...and relaxed.
I've worked hard to get to the place where I am now. And I'm probably most suited to someone who has had a rough go of it in relationships and life in general, but has risen above and become independent, unique in their views and remains young at heart.
